Litter bins

The GHM waste bin collection contributes to the cleanliness of urban areas while suggesting shapes and styles suitable for multiple city contexts.

The waste bin must motivate: its appearance and its finish encourage good behaviour, discipline and respect.

During both use and emptying, the waste bin is subjected to strain. For this reason, working parts (front or side openings with key and automatic locking) need to be simple to access and handle.

GHM bins can include many alternatives depending on the models: different volumes, systems compatible with national security alert measures, fire-proofing, added ashtrays, anti fly-posting textures and surface treatments, etc.
GHM bins have been designed by major designers and have appearance and capacity suited to use in different locations.

The materials
Cast iron, a material that is noble and durable, contributes its strength to the aggression and shocks of city life, but is also flexible to the interpretations of the most creative designers.

Other bins use steel, stainless steel or combinations of materials such as wood, PERMASTEN resin, aluminium and bronze.

Finishes and colours
All GHM products are carefully prepared before the final coating is applied. Surface preparation: Cast iron: zinc coating (NF EN ISO 2063 standard) / Aluminium: phosphating passivating / Steel: hot dip galvanisation (NF EN ISO 1461), zinc coating (NF EN ISO 2063) / Certified origin timber: varnish sanding, sanding, drying and application of paint or surface treatment.

Coating: cast iron, aluminium, steel: application of a polyester thermosetting powder coat in RAL shades.

GHM's PIXEON technique makes it possible to copy picture compositions or photos onto certain flat elements, including waste bins in the CEANO and CEANA ranges (see PIXEON section).

Options
Waste bin models are proposed with stainless steel containers as an option. National security alert compatible systems are available as a standard on some models.
